Mimosa Install App introduces a new standard for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) looking to streamline the installation processes for off-the-shelf client devices in a point-to-multipoint (PTMP) configuration, such as the Mimosa C5, C5c, or C5x. By leveraging the application in conjunction with a Mimosa G2 Gateway, installations at customers' residences become more efficient.
The app automates tasks such as device unlocking and firmware upgrades, facilitating the alignment of installed Mimosa client devices with individual subscribers and their service provisioning details.
Users can uniquely configure device, wireless, and network settings either manually or by utilizing pre-defined templates accessible through the app or the Mimosa cloud. (Please note that compatibility requires a Mimosa G2 or compatible WiFi router, with the use of a Battery Pack recommended. The application is suitable for use with C5, C5c, and C5x devices in PTMP mode exclusively, and firmware version 2.3.0 or higher is necessary for configuration.)
